　　大賽以“共生之和”為主題，探討文化融合和個性訴求的關(guān)系，希望通過紋樣創(chuàng)意的方法，表現(xiàn)世界的豐富性和文化多樣化的魅力、以及文化共生的升華之美、平和之美。

 

　　2016國際紋樣創(chuàng)意設(shè)計大賽介紹 

　　自2010年10月始，杭州市政府與中國美術(shù)學(xué)院攜手舉辦的“以紋樣文化傳播和解讀為核心的創(chuàng)意大賽及設(shè)計師邀請展等活動”已歷經(jīng)六屆，都獲得巨大成功。中國美術(shù)學(xué)院將繼續(xù)和杭州市政府合作，籌辦“2016國際紋樣創(chuàng)意設(shè)計大賽”，將于2016年10月推出大賽評選、展覽和系列研討活動。大賽設(shè)立國際評審團(tuán)，在全球范圍內(nèi)征稿。在大賽專業(yè)機(jī)構(gòu)“國際紋樣設(shè)計聯(lián)盟”和產(chǎn)業(yè)顧問的指導(dǎo)下，力圖使本大賽成為發(fā)掘設(shè)計創(chuàng)新型人才的專業(yè)平臺。同時，從紋樣和產(chǎn)業(yè)、紋樣和品牌的設(shè)計互動中，進(jìn)一步推動“本土原創(chuàng)”的核心價值。

　　參賽對象 

　　歡迎全球從事藝術(shù)與設(shè)計的專業(yè)人士、院校師生，以及對本大賽感興趣的各屆人士參加。

　　參賽內(nèi)容和要求 

　　根據(jù)大賽主題，從紡織、服裝、工業(yè)造型、建筑等相關(guān)專業(yè)領(lǐng)域，進(jìn)行以紋樣創(chuàng)意為核心的創(chuàng)意產(chǎn)品設(shè)計或藝術(shù)品創(chuàng)作。本次大賽強(qiáng)調(diào)紋樣設(shè)計的原創(chuàng)性、時尚性、綜合性和跨界性；參賽作品要求體現(xiàn)主題概念創(chuàng)新性、設(shè)計的系統(tǒng)性與完整性，作品能表現(xiàn)技術(shù)和藝術(shù)的融合，形成新的材料語言和形式語言。

　　大賽流程和時間安排  

　　本次大賽分為初賽和復(fù)賽兩個階段：選手于2016年8月18日前提交作品文本參加初賽，經(jīng)初賽評審后，獲得復(fù)賽資格的選手必須提交設(shè)計實物參加復(fù)賽。復(fù)賽要求見后續(xù)通知。

　　1、大賽報名截止日期：2016年8月18日

　　2、初賽作品截稿日期：2016年8月18日（以當(dāng)?shù)剜]戳為準(zhǔn)）

　　3、參賽作品初審階段：2016年8月下旬初評，即時公布復(fù)賽名單。

　　4、參賽作品復(fù)賽評比、頒獎及論壇于2016年10月15日到10月19日在杭州舉行，相關(guān)要求詳見組委會后期入圍通知書。

　　參賽須知  

　　1、參賽作品應(yīng)符合本屆大賽的設(shè)計主題和宗旨。

　　2、參賽作品必須是參賽者本人原創(chuàng)、且未發(fā)表過的最新作品。如經(jīng)發(fā)現(xiàn)抄襲，將取消參賽及獲獎資格，并追究法律責(zé)任。

　　3、參賽作品要求作整體性系列設(shè)計，報名以系列為單位。

　　4、參賽作者性別、年齡、職業(yè)、學(xué)歷、國籍、民族等不限。同一系列的參賽作品，如一系列多人共同設(shè)計，組委會默認(rèn)名字排列第一的為主設(shè)計師，共同設(shè)計者不得超過兩名。

　　5、根據(jù)大賽組織條例有關(guān)規(guī)定，大賽組委會工作人員不得報名參加本次大賽。

　　6、注意事項和說明：

　　1）無論報名是否有效，全部參賽資料恕不退還，請參賽者自行留底。

　　2）本屆賽事為創(chuàng)意性大賽，其在設(shè)計中采用的材料和整體展示手段均沒有嚴(yán)格限制。復(fù)賽實物和參展道具均由參賽者個人提供。

　　3）本次賽事參賽者可通過大賽微信公眾平臺及其他相關(guān)媒體獲取報名表。

　　參賽報名和作品交件方式 

　　1、報名方式：請于2016年8月18日前將《參賽報名表》以電子郵件形式提交到大賽組委會提供的電子郵箱（報名表請向組委會索取）。

　　2、作品交件方式：大賽要求以設(shè)計文本形式參加初賽。請于2016年8月18日前將初賽作品文本（含實物照片）郵寄至大賽組委會提供的聯(lián)系地址（截止日期以郵戳為準(zhǔn)）。郵寄時稿件必須包含《參賽報名表》（復(fù)印有效），并在信封或郵件包裹上標(biāo)注“2016國際紋樣創(chuàng)意設(shè)計大賽”。

　　初賽作品文本要求 

　　1）內(nèi)容包括：創(chuàng)意概念說明（500字以內(nèi)）、紋樣設(shè)計稿、實物照片和展示照片或效果圖（影像類作品請以Mpg、Avi、Swf等格式刻入光盤后遞交）。

　　2）文本尺寸：頁數(shù)不限，A3大小（42CM×29.7CM）。設(shè)計文本需附作品光盤，作品制作成jpg、tif、cdr等格式的電子稿，并且應(yīng)達(dá)到300dpi印刷分辨率標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，以便宣傳或出版使用，而源文件作者需自行保留。

　　3）文本須標(biāo)明作品實物規(guī)格，實物尺寸限制為：高不能超過2.5米，長不超過3米，寬不超過3米。

　　大賽組委會在截止日前收到報名參賽者以上全部參賽資料后，報名生效。

　　評審和獎勵辦法  

　　1、大賽的評審標(biāo)準(zhǔn)由大賽專家委員會負(fù)責(zé)制訂，大賽評審委員會負(fù)責(zé)執(zhí)行。

　　2、作品是否充分表現(xiàn)了此次大賽的設(shè)計主題及宗旨，是否具有獨創(chuàng)性，是否在選材方面進(jìn)行了最合理、最恰當(dāng)?shù)拇钆浣M合，是否具有創(chuàng)新性和時尚感。

　　3、大賽設(shè)置全場大獎、最佳概念創(chuàng)意獎、最佳材料創(chuàng)意獎、最佳應(yīng)用獎、優(yōu)秀獎、入圍獎、組織紀(jì)念獎等獎項。

　　4、總決賽設(shè)置下列獎項和獎金：

　　本次大賽獎勵辦法將采取榮譽與實物獎勵相結(jié)合的原則，除向獲獎選手頒發(fā)證書外，配給相應(yīng)額度獎金。

　　大賽組委會邀請入圍復(fù)賽的部分參賽者到杭州參加復(fù)賽；凡入圍決賽的外地選手，來中國杭州的交通費用、作品郵寄運輸費用自理，賽期食宿費用由組委會承擔(dān)，具體日程以組委會的相關(guān)通知為準(zhǔn)（若兩人合作參賽，組委會只承擔(dān)一人的食宿費）。

　　5、大賽獎項和獎金 

　　1）全場大獎（綜合大獎）1名，獎金：人民幣2萬元（稅后），頒發(fā)獲獎證書。

　　2）最佳概念創(chuàng)意獎1名，獎金：人民幣1萬元（稅后），頒發(fā)獲獎證書。

　　3）最佳材料創(chuàng)意獎1名，獎金：人民幣1萬元（稅后），頒發(fā)獲獎證書。

　　4）最佳應(yīng)用獎3名，獎金：人民幣8000元（稅后），頒發(fā)獲獎證書。

　　5）優(yōu)秀獎10名，獎金：人民幣1000元（稅后），頒發(fā)獲獎證書。

　　6）集體組織獎若干名，頒發(fā)榮譽證書及邀請集體獲獎代表來杭參會（組委會承擔(dān)一人的食宿費）。

　　7）入圍獎30名，頒發(fā)獲獎證書。

　　凡獲獎作品，獲獎?wù)叩闹笇?dǎo)教師（以參賽者報名信息為準(zhǔn)）均獲得優(yōu)秀指導(dǎo)教師獎并頒發(fā)證書。獲獎名單將在大賽微平臺及其他相關(guān)媒體發(fā)布。所有獲獎?wù)叩莫劷稹⒆C書將在“2016國際紋樣創(chuàng)意設(shè)計大賽”頒獎典禮上授予，同期公開展覽。

　　聲明  

　　大賽規(guī)定，對于提交的作品，參賽者擁有知識產(chǎn)權(quán)（專利權(quán)、設(shè)計權(quán)等）。然而，大賽組委會有權(quán)將作品用于展覽，并且可以在宣傳過程中復(fù)制，用于大賽網(wǎng)站，新聞稿及其他宣傳材料。大賽的其他規(guī)定由大賽組委會負(fù)責(zé)解釋。所有參賽作者所提交給大賽組委會的信息需真實、有效，由此產(chǎn)生的法律責(zé)任由參賽者本人承擔(dān)。第三方就參賽作品提出有關(guān)知識產(chǎn)權(quán)等相關(guān)問題，將全部由參賽作者負(fù)責(zé)，大賽組委會對此不承擔(dān)任何責(zé)任。 

　　評委組成  

　　本次大賽設(shè)立大賽國際評審團(tuán)，邀請國內(nèi)外著名設(shè)計師、藝術(shù)設(shè)計教育家、文化創(chuàng)意知名人士、著名時尚媒體記者、著名時尚評論家、知名企業(yè)家等擔(dān)任大賽評委。

　　Theme of ICPDC2016: Symbiotic Harmony 

　　The theme of 2016 International Creative Pattern Design Competition is Symbiotic Harmony. Through pattern creations, we will probe into the relationship between integration of culture and demand for individuality, express the richness of human cultures and the charm of diversity, and show the beauty of sublimation and peace in the state of symbiotic harmony.

　　Brief Introduction of ICPDC2016 

　　Since October 2010, The International Creative Pattern Design Competition and Exhibition, which mainly focuses on transmission and interpretation of patterns, has been successfully held for 6 years by Hangzhou Municipal Government and China Academy of Art(CAA). Based on remarkable achievements, both organizers will again cooperate to launch 2016 International Creative Pattern Design Competition. A series of contests, exhibitions and seminars will be held in this October.

　　There will be an international jury in the competition, entries from worldwide. With the guide of the industry consultants as well as The Union of the International Pattern Design, this competition is expected to be a professional platform for discovering innovative talents in designing field. Meanwhile, the event will promote the core value of “native originality” through interaction between patterns and industry, as well as pattern and brands.

　　Eligibility 

　　The professionals, college teachers and students who engaged in art and design worldwide, and amateurs of all walks of life are welcome to the competition.

　　Design Principles 

　　According to the theme of this competition, entries should focus on pattern creation of textile, costume, industrial modeling, architecture and other related areas. They shall emphasize originality, fashionability, comprehensiveness and interdisciplinary character. Entries should also embody the creativity of the theme concept, as well assystematicness and integrity, and In addition, reflect the fusion of technology and art, form a new material language and formal language.

　　Competition Procedure and Important Dates 

　　The competition is undertaken in two stages: the preliminary stage and the final stage. The contestants should submit the descriptive file of their entries before August 18th, 2016 for the preliminary stage. After the judging, those who qualified for the final stage should provide finished artworks of the entries. Detailed requirements for the final stage will be announced later.

　　1.         Application deadline: August 18th, 2016

　　2.         Deadline for the submission of descriptive files on the preliminary stage: August 18th, 2016 (according to the date on the postmark）

　　3.         Preliminary judging of entries: late August, 2016. The list for the final stage will be announced on the official Wechat account of ICPDC and relative medium.

　　4.         The judging of the entries for the final stage, Award ceremony and seminars will be held on Oct.15th – Oct.19th, 2016 in Hangzhou. Please refer to the qualification notice for the final stage by the ICPDC Organizing Committee.

　　Rules and Regulations 

　　1.         Entries should stick to the theme and objective of the competition.

　　2.         Entries should be designed with originality. Any former publication is not allowed. Plagiarism of any kind will result in disqualification, while the contestant who is responsible will be investigated and affixed legal liability.

　　3.         Entries should be a systematic serial design, while entries for submission should be a series.

　　4.         There is no limitation on the contestant’s gender, age, profession, education, nationality or ethnicity. If the serial entries are designed by several designers, the first-listed name is regarded as the main designer, while total number of designers should be less than two.

　　5.         According the ICPDC organizing regulation, the staff on the ICPDC Organizing Committee is not allowed to participate in the competition.

　　6.         Notes: 

　　1) The application materials will not be returned whether the application is accepted or not. We suggest that contestants keep backups of application materials.

　　2) The competition is based on creativity with no limitation in choosing design materials and exhibition approach, but contestants should provide exhibits and the props by themselves.

　　3) All contestants can download application form from Wechat official account of ICPDC.

　　Application Process 

　　1.     Application: ICPDC 2016 Application Form should be sent to the ICPDC Organizing Committee before August 18th, 2016 by email.

　　2.     Submission of the entries: The descriptive design file(including the photos of the object) should be sent to the address provided by the ICPDC Organizing Committee before August 18th, 2016 (according to the date on the postmark). The package should include the application form(photocopy is acceptable.). Please mark “ICPDC 2016” on the envelope. All the digital file should be sent to the email provided by ICPDC Organizing Committee before August 18th, 2016. Both submissions are accepted by ICPDC Organizing Committee.

　　Requirements on the Entry File for the Preliminary Stage 

　　1.     Contents should provide the explanation on the creation concept (within 500 words), pattern design, photos of the object, and exhibition or working sketches. Videos should be converted to mpg, avi, swf format and submitted with a CD or DVD.

　　2.     Size: A3 (42CM×29.7CM) with no limitation on the number of pages, attached with a burned CD with artworks (with format of .jpg, .tif, or.cdr, etc.)  The resolution should be no less than 300dpi in case of publication. Designers can keep the original files.

　　3.     The descriptive file should indicate the size of the work. The limitation of the object is: less than 2.5m in height, less than 3m in length, and less than 3m in width.

　　Application will be effective if the all of the above materials are sent to the ICPDC committee before the deadline.

　　Evaluation Process and Awards 

　　1.     The evaluation criteria are set by the ICPDC2016 Expert Committee and executed by the jury of ICPDC2016.

　　2.     The jury will consider the following aspects: the indication of the design theme and objective of ICPDC2016, its originality, the reasonable and suitable combination of the selected materials, its creativity and fashionability.

　　3.     There will be following prizes: Grand Prize, Best Concept Creative Award, Best Design Application Award, Best Material Award, Award of Excellence, and Commemorative Team Award.

　　4.     Awards for the final stage :

　　ICPDC will issue both the certificates and prize money to the winners. In addition, the Organizing Committee will invite several contestants to Hangzhou, China for the final stage of competition. For non-local contestants, the committee will cover the accommodation and meal allowance only during the competition. The detailed schedule will be provided in the announcement of ICPDC. For co-designers, the committee will only cover the expense of one person.

　　5.    The awards and prize list:

　　1)       One Grand Prize, Prize: RMB 20,000 (after tax) with the certificate.

　　2)       One Best Concept Creative Award, Prize: RMB 10,000 (after tax) with certificate.

　　3)       One Best Material Creative Award, Prize: RMB 10,000 (after tax) with certificate.

　　4)       Three Best Innovative Applications Award, Prize: RMB 8,000 (after tax) with certificate.

　　5)       Ten Awards of Excellence, Prize: RMB 1,000 (after tax) with certificate.

　　6)       Several Team awards. Except for the certificate, the representatives will be invited to Hangzhou to participate the meeting. (Only cover the accommodation and meal allowance for one person).

　　7)       Thirty Entries awards with certificates.

　　The supervisor of the winner will be awarded the excellent supervisor certificate.

　　The winners list will be announced on the WeChat official account of ICPDC and related media. All the prize and certificates will be conferred on the award ceremony of ICPDC 2016 with a public exhibition at the same time.

　　Declaration 

　　All intellectual property created by each contestant remains the property of that contestant in equal proportions (including the patent right and design right, etc.). However, the ICPDC Organizing Committee has the right to use these works and their duplication for exhibition and publication official websites, news release and other publicity materials. Other regulations are subject to interpretation by the committee. All the information provided to the ICPDC Organizing Committee should be true and effective, and corresponding legal responsibility should be taken by the contestants. Contestants should take full responsibility of IP-related issues raised by a third party, and the ICPDC Organizing Committee will take no responsibility.

　　An international jury will be set in this competition, including Chinese and international famous designers, educators for art design, cultural creative celebrities, famous fashion journalists, famous fashion critics, well-known entrepreneurs.
